Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps
Atlanta, Georgia
Since 1976

This is my Spirit of Atlanta page. Enjoy.

This was me, all summer long.

Me, at the JSU home show, July 15th. Taken by Dave "Shamen" Ostertag,
another JPA Agent (head of AL HQ).

This is me and Ryan after our semis performance. We became great friends on tour,
starting the boycott movement and being major @$$es to anyone who dared
opposed us. Just kidding. Ryan's quote, "No, YOU shutup, YOU
don't tell me what to do" became a classic hit shortly after tour started.
My quote, "I wish I had a contract too", also became somewhat of a hit.

Ah, the group photo of Orlando. The day Disney flooded. Many friendships
were made stronger this day. Kevin (Adidas visor, to the right) and myself
(red/black Earnhardt hat, doing the peace sign) got separated from our
group early in the day, and we hung out the whole day, startin' trouble
and having a blast. Alot of booty grabbin' going on in that pic, huh? Poor souls.

Myself and Kenneth, lead baritone extraordinare, at banquet. One of the first friends I
made at Spirit of Atlanta, back at camps when we were way out in east egypt
during the (old) opener. Kenneith and I started much trouble during the summer,
as yelling "Bop THIS!" and flipping people off was our trademark. And there was much joy.

Myself and Jessica, colorguard/rifle extraordinare, after banquet. Jessica was
the sweetest girl I met, and a cool seat partner. She didn't mind sitting with
a crippled alto @$$. That takes alot. We had periods of serving beatings
to each other, but hey, that's what happens on tour.

The super altoline of 2000. First row: Joey "Double Wide" Muse, Katie "Rock" Ulrenbrock,
Bradley "Creyun" Lacey, Matt "13 year old" Tomsa. Second row: Ryan "Jesus" Davenport,
Paul "Buttwhiff" Richards, John "Johnboy" Richards, Mark "The Blackman" Hoskins (our
man this summer), Jason "Bubba" Lowe (me), Jason "Yoda" Hallberg, Charles "Barf" Patterson.

My home on tour. Nuff said.

The Bubbas of the drum corps community. Myself, and bus driver extraordinare
Bubba, from Jacksonville, Alabama.

The guy who sat across the aisle from me, Weed, the contra dude. Very cool guy,
and fun to hang out with. He is doing his impression of "God, if I have to see any more spandex I am going
to put a bullet in my skull" face. Actually, you could put any caption with that face...
